Best of all film adaptations of Victor Hugo's sweeping novel of Law vs Grace. Lush photography from locations in Prague and Paris. Excellent casting and first rate performances. Well paced well directed. A timeless story well told. Some cuts, of course, and a couple of minor changes to Hugo's original narrative, but still the best film of Les Miserables. Highly recommended!
