The Pump -- A man journeying through the desert has car trouble and decides to walk until he comes upon a ghost town. There he finds a pump with a note advising him not to drink the water in the bottle but rather to prime the pump, and he'll get plenty of water. What should he do? Gulp down the water in the bottle or trust the directions on the note? We learn of the decision he made when we later see the man face down in the sand, the discarded bottle nearby.
