In this foreign film produced in Germany and dubbed with English, Leon, the new kid in town, wants to fit in. Even though he has exceptional detective skills for a 13 year old, he is rejected by kids in the Mountain Bike Detective Club because his bike is not cool, and he can't afford to buy a better one. A sinister masked man on a motor bike pays Leon to toss a package over the fence into the yard of old Mr. Fellinger. Soon Leon buys his new bike and is accepted into the bike detective club only to learn that their current case is to solve the mystery of why Mr. Fellinger's dog was killed by poison. Who is responsible for previous acts of harassment against this kind man down the road? Why was his shed set on fire almost killing Leon's younger sister who was inside playing with kittens? Who is the mysterious man on the motorcycle? Will Leon confess his dark secret about his involvement in the death of the dog? The mystery is solved through the joint efforts of family members and faith friends. This is basically a detective story with many moments of suspense and humor. Ages 7-12.
