From the room, far back, a gray-haired man
Came forward and picked up the bow;
Then, wiping the dust from the old violin,
And tightening the loose strings,
He played a melody pure and sweet
As a caroling angel sings.
The music ceased, and the auctioneer,
With a voice that was quiet and low,
Said; "What am I bid for the old violin?"
And he held it up with the bow.

For years this has been one of my favorite poems. I saw the movie on TBN tonight. It continues to be a favorite. Praise God for the visual! Thank you.
A good video that uses the making and life a violin as a metaphor of our lives in the Master’s Hand. Short, to the point and well done. A good discussion starter especially for a new believer or an unbeliever.
I rate this presentation a 10 but unfortunately you have only five stars. Very touching, indeed!
Es un video que se debe ver y ver. es muy conmovedor
A much needed picture for every single soul in this world to cling to a picture of our never giving up on you God who will lift you up out of the deepest hole of despair if only you will make a choice to look to Him . He is there waiting to touch your hurting soul with His hand that WILL heal all your pain and restore all of your wasted years and make you new again even when you think there is NOTHING that can help you and you have given up forever . All you need is just the Touch of the Master's Hand...
Very touching. I love the concept of the story.
So wonderful!!! The only thing missing that could have been incorporated would be the song Johnny Paycheck sang, "Old Violin". It would be worth listening to. The film goes straight to my soul. Loved it. It does give hope to anyone watching it.
